Understanding God's Timing

On our journey through life, we often expect God to answer our prayers immediately. But sometimes, it feels like He is silent, and we begin to wonder if He’s even listening. But remember, God doesn’t work like that—He loves us deeply and knows what is best for each of us.

The Story of Lazarus: A Lesson in Patience

One story from the Bible that always reminds me of this truth is the story of Lazarus. Lazarus was one of Jesus' closest friends. When he fell seriously ill, his sisters, Mary and Martha, sent word to Jesus, hoping He would come quickly. But instead, it seemed like Jesus ignored their message. As time passed, Lazarus died and was buried. When Jesus finally arrived, Mary and Martha were understandably upset. They couldn't understand why their friend hadn't come sooner.

A Miracle Beyond Expectations

But we know the rest of the story. Jesus went to the tomb, and in a miraculous moment, He called Lazarus out of death, raising him to life again. What seemed like a delay was an opportunity for an even greater miracle.

Finding Comfort in God's Perfect Timing

This story is a reminder for all of us. When we face challenges and wonder if God is listening, remember that He is always aware, always loving, and always on time—by His standards, not ours. Even when we can’t see it, God is working behind the scenes, often doing His best work when we least expect it.

Final Thoughts

So, wherever you find yourself today, take comfort in knowing that God’s timing is perfect. His love for you is unchanging, and His plans are always for your good.

May you have a blessed day ahead.
