Focus on Your Personal Journey with God

We're each going to stand before the Lord for ourselves one day. So my question is, why do folks always try to work out everyone else's salvation? The word simply says for us to work it out for ourselves with fear and trembling, and that should be plain enough.

But it seems like so many try to step up into the role of being the judge and the jury. You can be a fruit inspector, my friends, and if the fruit ain't good, just move on and leave it to someone higher than you to handle it. Don't try and make jelly out of the fruit, then gripe about it not being good!

Getting Yourself Right at Our Church in Bremen GA

Get yourself right and be ready for your day in court. Trust me! Every knee is gonna bow and every tongue confess that He is God. So don't try and clean up someone else while it's perhaps you needing attention.

At West Georgia Worship church, we understand that our job is to be a light to others, and many times our bulb needs changing while we're worrying about others. I'm sure the enemy loves to sit back and laugh while the church world is busy trying to climb the "I'm holier than you" ladder, and the whole time, nobody's got time to be tossing stones at anyone else.

Working it out is exactly what it means, and it's to be a personal agenda, not a corporate thing. Of course, we should never become a stumbling block for others, but so often we're so busy trying to clean others up that we truly miss the point.

Personal Accountability in Our Bremen GA Church Services

So today, remember that it's up to us as individuals to work it out and keep in mind that we'll be judged by the one that matters in the end. Our good works, social standing, or any other thing that seems to matter will truly mean nothing. It'll be a whole different thing, my friends.

During our Bremen GA church services, we're reminded: it's not my brother or my sister, but me, oh Lord, standing in the need of attention. Let's get ourselves taken care of, and I promise you, there'll be no room to try and line someone else up.
