Finding Victory Through Life's Challenges

Finding Victory Through Life's Challenges

Even when it seems that for every two steps you take forward, you get pushed back three, you keep moving and never give up on where you are headed. Life's journey can feel daunting at times, and it will seem that you are making no progress. That's when you focus on the finish line ahead, remembering that your destination is worth every step of the climb.

When You're on the Rough Side of the Mountain

We all seem to be coming up on the rough side of the mountain at times. We get started with excitement and determination, and then it seems that every force possible comes to slow us down or test our resolve. That is when we must stop, get our focus back, and remember that where we are headed must truly be important, or we wouldn't be facing such opposition.

At West Georgia Worship church, we understand that life's struggles are real, but so is God's faithfulness. There is truly no time to stop, give up, or throw in the towel. It's time to wipe your face with that towel and keep pressing towards the mark.

Your Journey Matters to Our Church in Bremen GA

How you finish isn't as important as the fact that you finish and accomplish what you set out to do, my friends. Each journey is different for each person, but the struggles will perhaps be the same. That old feeling of "why keep on" will try to settle into your head as you keep moving today.

It might seem that nobody else shares in your vision, and that's okay. You aren't moving for them; you are moving for the purpose God has placed in your heart. Along your climb, you will hear many naysayers or those who perhaps used to run well tell you there's no need to try, that it's hopeless. Don't listen to that either. Keep putting one foot in front of the other.

Finding Strength in Our Worship Community in West Georgia

Those hopes and dreams aren't just something made up in your head; they are as much a part of you as anything else. Small steps will eventually turn into a stride that will help you pass the naysayers, and the end results will be your victory moment.

Those old feelings of "what if I can't do it" can be transformed into "look what I finally did." Remember that today as you keep climbing. This race will soon be over, but for now, get your focus back on the victory in finishing, not the roughness of the climb.
